Little bunny looking for squirrels

We have 22 mature trees on our property (mostly pine but a few oaks too), therefore we have a plethora of squirrels who probably think we live on their land.  Abby has been looking at squirrels since she could stand on the couch and look out the back window.  Now her favorite thing to do outside is to try to get as close to a squirrel as she can.  The problem is, the squirrel is scared of her and she is scared of the squirrel but they are both equally curious about one another.  It's a cute "dance" to watch from the grown-up point of view.  :)

Yesterday, my mom came over during her lunch break and we went looking for squirrels in the front yard.  Abby just got done eating a carrot and wanted me to put her bunny ear hair clips in her hair so I did.  Here are a few funny pictures from the hunt.

My favorite picture: Abby hiding behind Lao Nian and the squirrel is on the other side of the tree trunk.  They both scared each other!
