In just about an hour and 1 year ago, our sweet little Lilly was born. :) She had her 1 year check up today and she is 23 lbs (80%), 30.5" tall (90%) with a head circumference of 46 cm (84%). We've got another tall Baker girl in the family! She's a whole inch taller than Abby was at her 1 year check up. She also got 4 shots today and her finger pricked. There were some tears but I'm OK! Just kidding, Lilly is OK now and is sleeping it off. Lilly says about 4-5 words now and is starting to understand and respond to things that we say. To be fair, I will make a list of what she can do and say just like I did for Abby. But otherwise, we've got a happy, healthy baby girl who has brought so much joy into our family! And Abby continues to be a sweet big sister. I can tell she is proud of her sister when she sees her walk or do something new. They make each other laugh and Lilly just thinks Abby hung the moon. ♥ We'll see how long that lasts - haha!
Lilly and BEVO! For some reason he's got real nostrils and both girls love picking his nose - haha!
1. Lilly can say hi, diaper, jie jie and we think she says thank you. And she randomly repeats words we say too.
2. When we say "bi zhe", she knows to touch our nose, she comes to me when I say "guo lai!", she raises her arms up when we say "up!" and we're about to pick her up from her clip on chair and most importantly, she leans in for an open mouth kiss when we say "qin qin!" That's my favorite!
3. She is really out growing Abby's old clothes fast. She's already fitting 18 month clothes really well. She's got my BIG MAMA feet. I'm not even sure what size they are (4 or 5?).
4. Teeth #7 and #8 came in a little over a week ago (top left and right lateral incisors).
