Bryce has been traveling a lot for work lately so we try to make the most of our weekends together and do stuff with just the 3 of us. Today we decided to make the trek to Hermann Park. There are tons of pictures of Kirk, Ruby and me at HP and I wanted Abby to experience the same fun. Of course the playgrounds are completely different now (as they should be...its been 25+ years) but the big hill in front of the Miller Outdoor Theatre is still there! I remember rolling down that hill as a child. As I suspected, I remember the hill being much bigger than what we saw today but I'm sure it was GINORMOUS to Abby. :)
There is just something so exciting about climbing up a hill. :)
The Miller Outdoor Theatre - just as I remembered it.
Abby may look all serious but rest assured she had a blast walking around with Daddy. :)
Daddy had a bit of fun too....at Abby's expense! She loves to see her own shadow.
Daddy had his legs stretched out so Abby wanted to do it too. :)
My big girl.
Abby and me. :)
You can't go to Hermann Park without riding the train! Of course our family pictures never turn out great but this was the best we could get.
All in all Abby had fun on the train but she was much more interested in the sign in front of her.
{Note: train ride not as comfortable for those over 6 ft. tall. See where Bryce's knees are? He said it was worse than an airplane.}
What is she looking at, you ask?
She knew all the letters to the word "CAUTION" except for the "C." Not sure why we haven't gotten around to that letter yet. Go Abby!
What a long morning! Time to go home and take a nap!
