Let there be more carpet!

We finally got the carpet installed in the living room and hallway leading to our room.  As you can see from the picture, the existing floor tiles are original 1969 floor tiles.  I've hated it since we moved in for several reasons.  First off, it's red and the grout was dirty.  Blah.  It made the livnig room cold and I had to wear house shoes all the time.  Coming from an Asian household, it was a huge adjustment.  We finally feel like this is officially our home now that the carpet is in and most importantly, Abby has so much more room to roam.  She actually crawled from the living room to our bedroom this morning.  Being the cautious baby that she is, she was looking all around and taking her sweet time but she had a huge smile on her face too!  :)

Abby has plenty of room to play now too!  :)

And we changed up the sectional.  It is now shaped like an "L" vs being symmetrical to allow for better seating.  Don't know why we didn't do this long ago.
