We are on week 36 and coincidently we had a doctor's appointment today to get an U/S done and it's also our four year anniverary! We thought it was a nice way to spend part of our anniversary day. :) Working from home 2 days a week has made a world of a difference for my swelling. My blood pressure is still good, baby's heart beat is getting stronger and stronger and the good news is that the U/S today confirmed that Baby Baker is head down and getting ready for launch! She's about 6 lbs now too and kicking a lot! My doctor says if I maintain my weight, she'll be about 7.5 lbs. Sounds good to me! She has a perfectly round little head (we saw from the U/S) and I can feel where her little butt is when she kicks - haha! Although I'm carrying low, she hasn't dropped yet but that should happen in the next week or so. Wonder what that will feel like? :)
Now that I'm obviously big and nearing the end of pregnancy, more and more strangers like to ask when I'm due, if it's a boy or girl, etc. Everyone is always so nice and the women look genuinely excited for you and wish you good luck...it's sweet. :)
