Let the summer begin!

I sort of intentionally didn't plan anything for the girls the first 3 weeks after school was let out.  I wanted them to relax, enjoy family time and let loose a bit.  It didn't take long for our bed times and nap times to slip a bit but I figured, that's OK.  The important thing is they are having fun and we don't have any pressing appointments anyhow.  But then Summer Camp weeks are coming up, weekly gymnastics has begun as well as swim lessons for Abby for the next 8 weeks.  A few other highlights are that we installed a new kitchen sink, we bought a new F150 truck and Abby got 4"-5" of her hair cut off (the most we've ever cut before!).  We've got dentist appointments and more birthday parties to look forward on top of all of our summer activities.  This is my last summer before BOTH girls start school in late August so I'm cherishing each minute with them.

Told you we were being lazy.  Playing with my cell phone camera while lazily cuddling in bed one morning.  Or was it the afternoon?  Who cares!

The girls love killing time at the book store.  I sent this picture to Bryce and he accurately wrote back "The nerd and the jock."  Couldn't be more true.  ♥

This is just a random picture of Bryce about to give Lilly a bath.  I'm all business when it comes to baths but he makes it fun and all I hear is Lilly giggling and laughing the whole time.  :)

I had zero trouble getting a picture of Little Miss Legs here.  My whole life people told me I have long legs but this takes the cake.  I told Bryce he better get his shot gun ready - the sooner the better.

This is the 3rd summer we've busted out this hippo pool and we have definitely gotten our money's worth.  The girls absolutely LOVE playing in it.  We thought maybe Abby would have out grown it this summer but we were wrong.  This is a great way to provide at least 3 hours of play time for the girls with very minimal loving sibling bickering.
