Lots over the long weekend

Abby's latest fun thing to do is climb all over Mommy and Daddy.  She can get from her belly, up to her knees, to standing really well now!  Her balance is getting better and better.  She's somewhat crawling now.  She moves just a few steps with her hands and feet and then falls flat to her belly - so cute.  :)  Here are some pictures of her climbing up on me.

Here she is doing the same to Daddy.  :)

Here is a typical Happy Abby face.  :)

We had a much anticipated reunion the day before Thanksgiving at Tara's parent's house.  Two friends from our (Ruby and my) childhood and one dear friend from college all had daughters in 2009 and we finally got the chance for everyone to meet!!  It was so much fun to see our kiddos meet and play together and to catch up with old friends.  That's one of the perks of living in the same city you grew up in; all your friends come back home to visit family and we get see them too!

I'm getting Abby ready for our get together.  Little Abbers likes to suck on her shoes so after putting them on, I decided to take them off.  No shoes for you!

Abby and Haley met when Abby was 6 weeks old and they got to meet again!  You can see Abby made quite an impression when they first met.

Tara - please send the pic your mom took with Ruby!  :)

That evening Abby got to meet her great grandparents - Great Granddad and Great Grandma Jo who came all the way from Kansas for Thanksgiving!

Bryce smoked some turkey breasts and thighs.  This will now be a new Baker tradition because it was fall-off-the-bone delicious!  He also roasted a traditional turkey which was also delicious and the family made all the usual yummy trimmings as well.  Abby had sweet potato puree and all bellies were satisfied.

The evening ended perfectly with UT beating A&M.  Next stop is Big 12 Championship!  Here's Abby and her Daddy watching the game.

Abby likes to cuddle with her Lao Nian.  :)

Bathroom update:  Not much went on this week because of the holidays but the floor tiles are installed and the windows were put in this morning.  We went ahead and put new windows in our room and in Abby's room.

it appears that abby enjoys tormenting haley. not only did abby scream at haley at their first meeting, but this last time, abby decided to use haley as a crutch! :) so cute.
