Remember me?

We're still here!  Man oh man, how did I let July slip by without a single post!?!?  Shame on me.  I wish I could say it was because we have been traveling the world or doing something super meaningful but the truth is, I got lazy.  I'm so behind, I have to look back at my calendar and pictures to remember what we've been up to.

But if I had to sum up the summer so far, here it is:  It's hot, the girls have gotten super clingy, I'm running out of "fun" things to keep them busy, they are loving summer camp at school (even Lilly has finally improved during drop-off and pick-up), Abby's still rocking swim lessons, both LOVE gymnastics and we've made some HUGE progress with the brewery.  Whew!  And that's just scratching the surface!  As usual, I'm just going to dive right into the pictures to jog my memory.  This is the entire month of July is a not-so-small nutshell.

We had a lot of pajama days (aka lazy days) and I love it!

My mini-me.  ♥

Checking out the progress at the brewery.  This is the future conference room.

Being silly in the car.

My cute baby.  :)

We had a fun July 4th weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's!

Abby and Grandma!

Bryce and his mini-me.  ♥

On a whim one day, I took them to Wonderwild to get out of the house and it was a HUGE success!

Jump! Jump!  Jump!

My ever maternal Abby helping her sister down the big slide.  :)

Wheee!!!

Sisters!

I got them Shipley's Donuts one morning.  Just for fun.

Abby at our local YMCA for swim lessons.  She loves it!

Typical when I ask them to smile.

Abby has been obsessed with these sticker books for years.  She will play with these for hours and it's glorious.

See?  My girls play with cars too!

HUGS!

We made a trip to Chinatown and had dessert at Juice Box.  Yum!

It was so hot outside that day - it was a great way to cool off.

Awww.....  :)

LOVE this face.  ♥

Ain't it great to be a baby.  Chillaxin' on the couch being spoon fed breakfast while watching her favorite show "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."

They just LOVE to put temporary tattoos on each other.  So cute!

Only a Daddy of daughters would cuddle with a stuffed Aerial.

Looks like the girls found the best seats in the house.  :)

Another rare cuddle moment that Lilly has graced us with.

Let the summer begin!

I sort of intentionally didn't plan anything for the girls the first 3 weeks after school was let out.  I wanted them to relax, enjoy family time and let loose a bit.  It didn't take long for our bed times and nap times to slip a bit but I figured, that's OK.  The important thing is they are having fun and we don't have any pressing appointments anyhow.  But then Summer Camp weeks are coming up, weekly gymnastics has begun as well as swim lessons for Abby for the next 8 weeks.  A few other highlights are that we installed a new kitchen sink, we bought a new F150 truck and Abby got 4"-5" of her hair cut off (the most we've ever cut before!).  We've got dentist appointments and more birthday parties to look forward on top of all of our summer activities.  This is my last summer before BOTH girls start school in late August so I'm cherishing each minute with them.

Told you we were being lazy.  Playing with my cell phone camera while lazily cuddling in bed one morning.  Or was it the afternoon?  Who cares!

The girls love killing time at the book store.  I sent this picture to Bryce and he accurately wrote back "The nerd and the jock."  Couldn't be more true.  ♥

The obligatory "before" hair cut picture.

Side shot.

It was full-on salon spoiling from here on out.
Both girls had so much fun being primped and pampered.  :)

Can you tell she was loving this part?

Lilly wanted to sit on the chair too!

My hair dresser for the past 15+ years.

Abby always requests for her hair to be curled.

Mei Mei's not so sure about this!  :D

You can't tell from the picture but she was actually really excited about getting her hair curled as well.  :)

New truck.

My sweet Mei Mei at the dermatologist appointment.  I just thought she looked so cute in a hospital gown.
All is well - just getting a record of her moles for future reference.

Mei Mei stacking blocks with Lao Yie.

Leave it up to Abby to get my parents to dance while she played "a romantic song on the piano."
That is Lilly asking my mom if she can cut in and dance with Lao Yie.  ♥

Sweet cousins!!!

This is just a random picture of Bryce about to give Lilly a bath.  I'm all business when it comes to baths but he makes it fun and all I hear is Lilly giggling and laughing the whole time.  :)

What father of two girls has NOT read Frozen to them??

Abby, our little helper and cheer leader, cheering her daddy (and me) on while we replace the kitchen faucet.

Ta-da!  We did it!

I tried to get a picture of the two girls in matching bathing suits but this is all I could get out of Mei Mei.

I had zero trouble getting a picture of Little Miss Legs here.  My whole life people told me I have long legs but this takes the cake.  I told Bryce he better get his shot gun ready - the sooner the better.

This is the 3rd summer we've busted out this hippo pool and we have definitely gotten our money's worth.  The girls absolutely LOVE playing in it.  We thought maybe Abby would have out grown it this summer but we were wrong.  This is a great way to provide at least 3 hours of play time for the girls with very minimal loving sibling bickering.

Both doing a little dance.  :)

This is what the girls do while Daddy brews his beer (see it in the background?).

Lilly sucking down a cool, refreshing juice in the warm weather.

Intentionally not smiling when I ask her to - beggars can't be choosers!

♥ ♥ ♥ Girls will be girls!!!  ♥ ♥ ♥

Cuddles before bed time.  Lilly insists that I put her to bed (that's when I get my cuddles) but she'll get a good cuddle out of Daddy first.  My sweet baby Lilly.
