Lucy & Kirk's Baby Shower

Right after I got back from Denver, I hit the ground running for the next 5 days to finish planning and prepping for the baby shower I was throwing for Lucy and Kirk.  I have been looking forward to this day for a long time and I couldn't wait to let my creative juices flow and have a project to work on.  I'm no Martha Stewart but I definitely enjoy doing creative things when I have the chance.  For me, every step of party planning is a joy - from sending out the invitations (I love addressing envelopes!) to creating a menu and planning out all the decorations.  I chose a pink and orange theme rather than just all pink for a girl.  It was an honor to do something for my brother and sister-in-law and I'm glad everyone had fun!

It's a girl!  They are due Christmas Eve.  Kirk and Lucy also have birthdays in December so it's going to be a busy month for them!  :)
