ni hao, kai-lan
About twice a week, Abby and I watch "ni hao, kai-lan" at 12:00 and 12:30 PM. Ruby told me about this show about a year ago but I never watched it (because I was at work!) but now we really enjoy it! Abby gets SO excited when it's on - she screams and squeels and points at the characters on TV. It's the first time I've ever seen her focus on something for more than a few minutes. We never get through a whole episode though - she just doesn't have that long of an attention span yet. Kai Lan teaches you Chinese and it will only add to Abby's vocabulary so far. We just love it!

matt thinks this show is dumb but i get a kick out of it!!!
he did learn "ting" (to listen) last night! i think they should've taught "kan" (to see) also in that episode.
I just taught Abby wa-wa for water. :) Which is different from wa-wa for doll. :o
