Annual Christmas Craft with Grandma

This is the third year that we have gone to Grandma's to make something for Christmas with Abby.  The first year we made and decorated cookies, last year we made a ginger bread house and this year we made a Fruity Pebble Holiday Tree.  It's essentially rice krispie treats made out of Fruity Pebbles, cut out and stacked up like a tree.  It sounded really simple and fun so we gave it a shot!  As usual, the end product looked nothing like the picture but Abby had fun making it and that's all that counts!  Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so these are all horrible cell phone pictures.  Enjoy nonetheless!

I would have been happy just stopping here and eating all the Fruity Pebbles and marshmallow up but we went on.

Too many cooks in the kitchen!

You're suppose to cut the treats into stars but we didn't have concentric star cookie cutters so we improvised with just squares.  I caught Abby dipping her fingers into the frosting!

After they were stacked, it was time to decorate!

This took quite a while but Abby did a great job!

It turned into a leaning tower of a Holiday Tree but it's OK.  It was a fun family project!

This is what it's suppose to look like.  Pretty close!
